4.2.-CHANGING OF BASE CHANNEL (FREQUENCY) PUSHBUTTON
When in an installation there are two units with the same frequency these can interfere with
each other, mutually causing losses of communication and with them stopping in the movements
of the crane. For a receiver to start operation, in addition to receiving a signal with its channel of
frequency, it must receive in the signal its identification code. Each unit has its identification code
and there can never exist two units of the same range with the same code. It is thus ensured that
when there exist two units with the same frequency they can interfere with each other but can
never act upon the other crane.
It is recommended that the units that work on tower cranes, construction, have the scan
option selected in starting up; this scan consists of the receiver making a frequency sweep of the
zone, find the frequencies that are free and work on one of them. The construction units are
manufactured with this option activated.
