This is the ideal solution recommended by the IKUSI technical assistance service to users
for quick repair. It involves having one or several reserve transmitters, depending on the
number of remote controls installed, so as to replace the broken transmitter quickly and
simply.
The majority of the break downs of a remote control occur in the transmitter; it undergoes
falls, is crushed, etc. If we have a reserve transmitter, in addition to repairing the remote
control, in addition to repairing the remote control, we will not have to go up the crane.
1.Check on the registration that the two transmitters, broken down and substitute, work
on the same frequency band, 800 Mhz, 900 Mhz or 433 Mhz. If they are different we cannot
substitute them. Every user must know the frequency on which their units work to order the
reserve transmitter in accordance with their working frequencies.
2.Incorporate into the transmitter the parameters of personalization of the broken down
transmitter, following the steps described below, programming of a reserve transmitter.
4.5.- SUBSTITUTION OF LOGIC AND RADIO TRANSMITTER (PUSHBUTTON)
2. Once the two fastening screws are removed, extract
the out of order EEPROM EP70 transmitter.
3. Put the EEPROM EP70 module you have removed
into the reserve transmitter. Once in place, fasten it by
tightening the two screws.
4. Once the EEPROM EP70 is substituted, with battery,
turn the key to the contact position and push and
extract the stop button. The LED indicator will light up
a moment in amber , will blink green for about 15
seconds and will turn off. Pushing start, the unit will
begin to work.
1. Remove the two fastening screws of the EEPROM
EP70 from the transmitter that is out of order. The
parameters of the unit are stored in the EEPROM EP70.
